Hi, I’m Tory Jon – an avid camper, outdoor enthusiast, and the creator of Camping Sense.

This comic strip started as a lighthearted idea I posted on social media through my site CamperFAQs.com. I never expected the kind of response it got! Readers, especially on Facebook, quickly connected with the character’s dry humor, outdoor observations, and occasional jabs at everyday nonsense. It didn’t take long before I realized he needed a space of his own.

So, Camping Sense was born.

The name is a twist on “common sense,” which, as many of us know, isn’t always so common anymore. Through this comic, I try to mix camping inspiration with humor and a bit of commentary on the world around us. I hope these strips give you a laugh, a nod of recognition, or maybe just a reason to head outside.
